| I did it! Finished a half marathon without walking. 13.1 miles in 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 47 seconds to be exact. Now I am in all sorts of pain.
I almost walked the very last portion of it too because I thought it was 13 miles only. I was ready to stop at the 13 mile marker. Good thing I saw the real finish line and noticed everyone around me was still running.

| Steve Hong, Walter, Niki, and I had lunch with Kenji Yoshino at Jean Georges today. The food was terrific, and I must say, he is my new favorite person. I hope he decides to join the NYU faculty. Too bad he didn't bring his really cute dog to lunch...that would have been fun.
Anyway, better get some sleep because I'm running the Brooklyn Half Marathon bright and early tomorrow!

| I'm going to get my refund! I love you Uncle Sam! Sort of.

| Okay, so opening up a bag of carrots two days before leaving for Puerto Rico for six days was probably not a good idea. I did manage to stuff my face with 3/4 of the bag though, but now I'm feeling nauseous. That's okay though, that can't take away my high. Why, you ask?
Because it is currently 5 degrees in New York and 80 degrees in San Juan, Puerto Rico, that's why.
Bye bye gray, disgusting snowy streets of New York. Hello sandy beaches!

| I should really stop surfing random people's blogs in class. I'm always holding my breath, hoping some naked girl doesn't pop up on the screen. I just came across a picture of a girl that was spread eagle. I mean, she was clothed, but it was still a little awkward. The guy next to me turned his head.
